The brain stem: The brain stem impacts our arousal and alertness, and relays info from PNS to CNS as it is needed for basic survival.
Cerebrum: The cerebrum's function is intelligence, personality, sensory impulses, motor, planning/organization, touch, and sensation
Cerebellum: The cerebellum functions to control fine movement and coordination, balance and equilibrium, and muscle tone
Frontal Lobe: The frontal lobe's functions are complex mental processes, reasoning,
judgement, impulse control, some memory
Parietal Lobe: The parietal lobe's Function is to
interpret body sensation (pain, touch, and pressure sensation); fine sensation
Occipital Lobe: The occipital lobe functions to
process visual information (color/shape recognition); vision
Temporal Lobe: The temporal lobe's function is to
process sound as well as some memory
Prefrontal Cortex: The function of the prefrontal cortex is as importance for higher cognitive functions and personality
Motor Cortex: The function of the motor cortex is to process the storage of motor patterns and other voluntary activities for a human
Auditory Cortex: The function of the auditory cortex is to process auditory (sound) information
